Terms of Service and Disclaimer (plain language)

What this is

This is an extraction tool. You send us a tender document, and we send back a brief that pulls out the closing date, the mandatory requirements, the bonds and insurance and licensing rules, the scope of work as stated in the text, and a list of anything it could not confirm. It is built to read documents, not to think for you.

What this is not

This is not legal advice, bidding advice, or pricing advice. It does not tell you whether to bid, what to bid, or whether you will win. It does not submit anything on your behalf. It is not a substitute for reading your own tender document.

Your responsibility

Every fact in your brief comes with a page citation pointing back into your document. Before you rely on any date, requirement, or dollar figure in your brief, especially the closing date, you must check the cited page against your own copy of the tender. If your brief lists something as "not found" or on the MUST-VERIFY list, that means we could not confirm it, not that it does not exist. Treat those items as unanswered questions, not as "no."

No guarantee of completeness

We do not promise the brief captures every requirement in your tender. Some information (drawings, scanned pages, tables, companion documents you did not send us) may not be captured, and the brief will say so wherever that happens. Every brief includes a completeness count, showing how many of the standard categories were resolved, so you can judge for yourself how far to rely on it.

Liability

If something in your brief is wrong or the service clearly fails to deliver (for example, the wrong document's brief, a blank result, or a broken output), our only obligation to you is a refund of what you paid for that brief. We are not liable for any other loss, including a missed deadline, a lost bid, a contract dispute, or any other damages, beyond that refund.

Your document and your privacy

Your document is used only to produce the brief you ordered. We do not keep it beyond delivering that brief to you, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product develops. The version shown to you at the time you order applies to your order.
